Family representative Thamsanqa Mbuli said the discussions achieved their intended purpose.
“We’d like to thank Cartrack management for their cooperation, allowing an organic first discussion that was open and transparent. Our intended objective of clarifying the sequence of events leading up to our beloved daughter, sister, and colleague’s passing was achieved,” he said.
For Dhladhla’s family, the meeting appears to have brought a measure of comfort during an extraordinarily painful period.
“This is one of many important steps in the healing process for the family. What happened today has given me peace,” said her sister, Lindiwe Dhladhla.
Cartrack Pledges Full Cooperation
Cartrack South Africa CEO Joshua Victor expressed condolences to the family and reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting all investigations.

Victor said the focus should remain on uncovering the truth through a fair and evidence-based process.
“At the heart of this tragedy is a much-loved daughter, family member, friend, and colleague. Everyone affected by her passing is grieving and searching for answers.”
Call for Patience as Investigations Continue
As emotions continue to run high across South Africa, the Dhladhla family has urged the public to allow official investigations to take their course.
“We thank South Africans for the love and support expressed, and wish to remind everyone supporting our family that we have not yet established all material facts surrounding our loss,” Mbuli said.
“We would like your support in allowing the investigation processes to unfold without pre-empting the outcome. Cartrack employees are our brothers and sisters as well. Let us not see them as enemies.”
In a gesture that reflects the family’s desire for unity rather than division, relatives have invited Dhladhla’s managers and colleagues to attend her funeral.
“We want Cartrack to feel welcome to attend the funeral and to show their support,” said her aunt, Phumzile Dhladhla.
