A fierce war of words has erupted online between Amapiano vocalist MaWhoo and controversial content creator Cyan Boujee, as the two stars publicly clash over a high-profile romantic entanglement.

The explosive drama unfolded on Instagram Stories, where both women took turns throwing thinly veiled jabs at each other.

Social media detectives quickly connected the dots, identifying the man at the center of the storm as allegedly being the former Ekurhuleni City Manager, Kagiso Michael Lerutla.

The online spat kicked off when MaWhoo shared a screenshot of private texts from a mystery partner begging for her forgiveness.

Escalating the feud, she openly boasted about the material wealth she acquired during the relationship, revealing that the shared lover had purchased three houses for her in cash.

MaWhoo further claimed that even though they have already been intimate and are currently apart, the wealthy benefactor continues to plead for a reconciliation.

Cyan Boujee was quick to counter the narrative, showing total indifference to MaWhoo’s claims of cash-bought properties and lingering texts.

Taking a direct shot at her rival, Cyan made it clear that she is unbothered by the past, stating that what matters most is the present reality: the man ultimately chose her.

This is not the first time both women have found their names linked to Lerutla.

Earlier this year, the high-flying public official faced intense public scrutiny and legal trouble regarding municipal funds, prompting social media users to speculate whether he was the “secret blesser” behind the lavish lifestyles, luxury cars, and mansions flaunted by several of Mzansi’s top influencers.

While the legal investigations focused on the official, the court of public opinion remains fixed on the dramatic fallout between his alleged romantic interests.

Neither woman seems ready to back down as the battle for supremacy continues to play out on the timelines.
