Joint air support deployments for the anti-illegal immigrants operations across the province
Two SAPS helicopters are conducting aerial assessments across Gauteng, with one covering the northern region while the other covers the southern region of the province.
The flyovers are providing executive leadership with a real-time view of deployments and the prevailing situation in identified hotspot areas.
On board are Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, Minister Kubayi, the Acting National Commissioner of SAPS, the Acting Deputy National Commissioner for Crime Detection, the Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, and other senior officials.
The operation forms part of ongoing efforts to monitor developments, coordinate resources, and ensure public safety across the province.
