Mbali Shinga to Appeal NFP Expulsion at Supreme Court After High Court Defeat
Defiant National Freedom Party (NFP) member Mbali Shinga has vowed to take her legal battle to the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) following a major setback in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.
The High Court recently dismissed Shinga’s application to overturn her expulsion from the political party.
Despite the ruling, Shinga maintains that the legal dispute is far from over and has expressed absolute certainty about escalating the matter to the higher courts.
“This case is not finished, and I am still going to fight,” Shinga stated, affirming her resolve to challenge the party’s decision.
The ongoing legal friction underscores deeper internal fractures within the NFP as leadership battles and disciplinary actions continue to play out in the public eye.
A timeline for the SCA filing has not yet been formally announced.
