On Thursday, 11 April, Xolani appeared briefly in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court in Ekurhuleni and the case was postponed to 9 May.

State prosecutor Advocate Pheelo Vilakazi said the investigative officers have concluded their investigation and he has received the video from Moja Love

Vilakazi said the matter will be transferred to the regional court.

AKA, Tibz murder bail application

The State is expected to begin laying out its case today in the Durban Magistrate’s Court opposing the bail application of five men accused of the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane.

Forbes and Motsoane were killed in Durban last year. The police announced the arrests last month, saying an elaborate operation was put in place to kill Forbes.

A further two suspects are being held in Eswatini, awaiting the outcome of an extradition application.

The leader of Rivers of Living Waters Ministries is accused of repeatedly raping a woman between 2013 and 2018.

Zondo is facing five counts of rape and three of sexual assault, with incidents occurring in Evaton, Vereeniging, and Robertsham

This is Zondo’s second rape case, as he is already facing 10 counts from seven women in the Pretoria high court.
