Xolani Zuma And Wife, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma Say They Are Ready To Hand Themselves Over Amid Possible Arrest Warrants
SA First Forum CEO Xolani Zuma says he and his wife, March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, have been informed of possible warrants of arrest against them.
Zuma said their legal team was working to verify the information and that they would hand themselves over to police if the warrants were confirmed. The SAPS had not publicly commented on the claims at the time of writing.
The development follows protests in Durban linked to a Home Affairs directive on asylum applications. Some demonstrations turned violent, resulting in arrests. On Monday, two activists, Magolide Shinga and Malizo Dzanibe, were granted bail of R1,000 each on charges including public violence, while a third accused remained in custody.
Ngobese-Zuma previously handed herself over to police in January 2026 after a public violence case was opened following protests outside Addington Primary School. The matter was awaiting a decision from the National Prosecuting Authority as of late February.
