‘Go Out and Work’: Shauwn Mkhize Breaks Silence on Public Dispute with Ex-Husband Sbu Mpisane
South African business mogul and reality TV star Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize has officially broken her silence regarding her ongoing public feud with her ex-husband, Sbu Mpisane, issuing a scathing statement via her social media channels.
Taking to her Instagram account, the wealthy entrepreneur declared that “enough is enough,” criticizing Mpisane for airing their private grievances in the media rather than utilizing proper legal channels.
Mkhize emphasized that despite the breakdown of their marriage, she had long chosen to remain silent out of respect for their son, Andile Mpisane, and their grandchildren.
The core of Mkhize’s statement addressed financial independence and the division of their assets following their high-profile split. In a direct and unyielding message,
MaMkhize listed the substantial assets her ex-husband retained after their separation.
“I left you with Royal Eagles Football Club, our matrimonial home in La Lucia, and a fleet of exotic cars,” Mkhize stated. “As if that was not enough, you were left with all of this despite never having worked for it. Please now go out and work, as other men do.”
Mkhize expressed deep disappointment that their domestic conflicts continue to play out in the public eye rather than inside a courtroom, where she believes the justice system should be left to establish the facts.
Beyond the financial finger-pointing, the statement highlighted MaMkhize’s growing concern for the emotional well-being of their blended family.
She urged Mpisane to consider the psychological toll the media circus is taking on their children and grandchildren, pleading for a boundary to be drawn to protect the younger generation from further public fallout.
Mpisane has yet to publicly respond to the statement.
