WAV returns to Cape Town on Saturday, 2 January 2027, featuring a heavy-hitting, multi-generational line-up.
South African music icons Mafikizolo lead the local contingent, bringing their legendary catalogue of timeless hits to the stage.
Joining them is an eclectic mix of contemporary trail-blazers and rising stars, including Lordkez, WizTheMc, Lusanda, Thando Zide, and Xowie.
The sonic experience will be further elevated by special guest DJ sets from the dynamic duo TXC and global hitmaker Juls, alongside support from DJ Loyd and Sir Vincent, ensuring a sun-soaked celebration of R&B and African rhythms.
On Sunday, 3 January 2027, WAV makes its highly anticipated debut in Pretoria at the state-of-the-art SunBet Arena.
Bringing the festival’s signature sound to a brand-new audience, international heavyweights Ty Dolla $ign and KWN will be flanked by a distinctly local dimension.
Pretoria fans can look forward to standout performances from Lordkez, Lusanda, and Xowie, capping off a massive weekend dedicated to the evolution of modern R&B.
To celebrate the expansion and encourage fans to experience the festival together, WAV has launched a limited-time 4-for-3 ticket special.
